Counter-Notice (If You Believe a Takedown Was Mistaken)
If your content was removed and you believe it was taken down in error, you may submit a counter-notice including:
- Your name, contact info, and username
- The link to the removed content and an explanation of why it should not be considered infringement
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the content was removed in error or misidentification
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court in your area and that you will accept service of process from the party who submitted the DMCA notice
- Your electronic or physical signature
We may reinstate content if a valid counter-notice is received and no legal action is initiated by the original claimant within 10 business days.
